Eurovision in Baku 2012! (I)

The final of Eurovision will take place precisely in a week. And the rehearsals have started at full speed!
I'll leave the deepest comments to the dress rehearsal.
However, I will make some brief comments to what I've seen. The more positive surprises are Iceland (who never stops surprising me positively, even though the language changed to English), Denmark, Switzerland, Norway and Cyprus and, although not among the favorites for the final TOP10, Belarus who is willing to have a remarkable performance.

For the more "controversial" cases more - Albania, Austria, Georgia, Montenegro, Israel and Russia - that are both loved and hated ( here there is no middle ground), in general are to submit a performance ... worthy ... of such great songs.
And it seems that for Russia the rumors are even true: during the performance of the group Buranovskiye Babushki the oven we saw in the Russian festival, will cook a cake that according to rumors, will be distributed among the other competitors! !

Loreen and Euphoria:
Loreen and her "Euphoria" endure as the big favorite of this year
I really have to pay special attention to the big favorite for the majority of gambling sites, and the winner of the OGAE votes: Loreen.
With so much favoritism, great expectations were soon around the rehearsalss. And it seems that the first rehearsal, even being the first, made very eurofas very disappointed.

It's true that it was the first rehearsal, and that nobody is forced to show everything, either in this or in any other rehearsal. But it's almost impossible not to be disappointed with what happened in the first rehearsal of Loreen.
It was known that the singer and her dancers were accompanied by a chorus - as always happens in these cases, to remedy the problems of discord and reinforce the corner in the more complicated parts - the truth is that a song like this that is so focused on singer, a bad dose of the provision choir can throw everything away.

In the second rehearsal, we noticed a big difference. It really seems that the first rehearsal served to Loreen and the other members on stage, try this same stage. In this second rehearsal, the performance was almost complete, still not listening very much the choir.
Of course after the performance in Melodifestivalen, many of the changes may seem strange to the public.

Eurovision and LGBT culture: now I will speak with the news that grieves me most at this time. Already before he had mentioned here that there is a strong link between Eurovision and LGBT culture, to the point of considering  Eurovision the biggest gay parade in the world, although I'm not even in this matter, not quite understand this connection.
And on this basis, it seems that Islamic extremists in Azerbaijan are to take seriously his threats to create chaos during the contest. Based on phrases like "What do gay men bring to Azerbaijan? What will happen to Azeri families after the gay parade? There is no place for immoral gays in Azerbaijan, there is no place for homosexuals who seems animals," the sites esctoday.com and eurovisionaz.com were brutally hacked to the point where the sites were completely emptied of all the information and no longer exist - this time only the pages of facebook is there.

The case of esctoday.com is more serious since there were 12 years of constant work from January to December every year - that made this site one of the international reference sites on about Eurovision - who were lost.
Also the site oikotimes suffered this attack, but managed to hold on to the server change.

And the funny thing is that this attack by Azerbaijani hackers happened precisely in the World Dayagainst Homophobia. But violence does not seem to stop here: the cases of aggression to foreign civilians even begin to worry about some fans who have lost the will to watch the festival live.

Despite of that, Artur Rasizade, the Azerbaijani prime minister, says there is no cause for great concern because, as he said, "We have not received serious threats, so we believe that everything happens within the normal range."

In the message on the withdrawal of Armenia from this year (by the way, is still waiting for the sanctions that Armenia will receive the late withdrawal), I complained about the air sometimes cynical that many countries in trouble, and do not talk about problems economic, but social problems, bad political regimes and even violent internal conflicts, present themselves in the contest as if all was well, and were to represent a paradise on earth.

For my part, despite these attacks do not have human victims, we are facing a very serious crime and unbearable these days in the world called "developed".

To finish just one question: Will all these computer criminals will know that it is true that more than half the audience to vote in this contest is gay, it was these same gays they hate so much that gave victory to Azerbaijan? Or they even didn't want Azerbaijan to participate in Eurovision?
